Spectrobes was released on March 13, 2007 on the Nintendo DS in the Western Region and was developed by Jupiter, and published by Disney Interactive Studios. Spectrobes is a fun game.
You basically search and dig for fossils and minerals for dinosaurs called Spectrobes. Once you find the fossils, you can go back to your ship and awaken them. This does seems fun and easy to collect and befriend Spectrobes, but once you witness the actual gameplay of waking Spectrobes. Your gonna be disappointed. To collect(optional) and befriend Spectrobes. You need to used the speaker to act as the microphone and shout out to it "Wake up!". You have to say it out loud into the speaker of the Nintendo DS in order to obtain the Spectrobes. Then, from there you decide that do you want to add the Spectrobes to your team or not. Imagine playing this game out in public. In order to befriend and collect more Spectrobes by waking them up, you have to shout out in the speaker "Wake up!" Wouldn't that be weird, and awkward if you have to do that in public? Spectrobes is a good game, but the befriending system is stupid and disturbing to the public. The actual battle system is good and fun to play, but not the befriending system. Next time, you come up with a befriend system for reviving and collecting dinosaur fossils. Please come up with a smart idea that doesn't require your voice into the speaker.
